An important aspect of REALTOR® associations is political advocacy, issues engagement, and community outreach, which all fall under the REALTOR® Party, in order to help support and promote property ownership, strong communities, and healthy businesses.

Member REALTORS® are asked to engage in three ways: Vote, Act, and Invest!

Vote

Voting is a vitally important part of both being a citizen and being a REALTOR®!

Act

In addition to voting, REALTORS® are also asked to stay involved, especially with issues related to real estate.

Get involved with our local association’s activities via our Government Affairs Committee

Sign up for REALTOR® Party mobile alerts by texting REALTORS® to 30644 to be alerted first to any Calls for Action

Respond to Calls for Action from the state and federal level when REALTORS® deem an issue especially important to act upon.

Invest

Realtor members have the ability to support Realtor Party activities by investing in RPAC, the REALTORS® Political Action Committee. RPAC than supports pro-REALTOR® candidates on both sides of the aisle, supports important issue-related activities, and even provides community building grants at the federal, state, and local levels.

RPAC in Blaine County has helped support local REALTOR® candidates in elections, ensured real estate was considered an essential business during the shutdown in 2020, and provided financial assistance in support of specific ballot measures.
